Following up with Pro Rod Productions and Creator, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez Post #1

It has been quite some time since we (loyal fans) have seen any work coming from Pro Rod Productions. On last we heard, their project, "Coming of Age" was put on hold due to budget cuts with the writer's strike in 2008, and then later a copyright dispute with the rights to the title, Coming of Age, already given to another company. But this was not enough to deter the young Production company.

Pro Rod Production's founder, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez (Pictured with actor J.D. on the cover of Future Filmmakers) has continued his on going process of production work. We ran into Rodriguez and asked him what he has been up to: "I've kept myself busy working on smaller projects and redefining my scripts...Coming of Age was an eye opener and I plan on bouncing back stronger than ever." We also asked him of the rumors of his new production, "The Point of Life" an original idea based off of the script, Coming of Age. "The whole process of initially losing the Coming of Age project was very hard, but now seems like the perfect time to bring the idea back. We're almost finalized with the script, really just adding final touches..." - Juan Eduardo Rodriguez.

This is big news to us because we have been waiting for Rodriguez to come back with another project. From what sources tell us, (the few we have) the actors that were tied in to the original project, Rodriguez's "Coming of Age," were all relieved of their contracts once the project was put on hold. Now begs the question, will Rodriguez bring back the cast we so loved?! Or are we going to see a range of new actors sign up for this project?! - (We know! The suspense is killing us too!)

What we do know, is that what ever comes up with this new project at hand, Pro Rod Productions will deliver. If by now you really aren't too sure of any of the work created by Pro Rod Productions, we're going to go ahead and leave you with a sample of their work!
