Rumors, rumors, rumors!!! Post #2

It's official! Our sources have confirmed that, "The Point of Life" is going to be Pro Rod Production's newest project! "The Point in Life" is the revised and updated version of Pro Rod Production's original series, "Coming of Age." Juan Eduardo Rodriguez, show creator and CEO to Pro Rod Productions shared a comment with us, "The Point of Life just seems like the right project for us to do right now. The script is finalized and although we're still deciding on an official title to the show (The Point of Life title may change later on), we've decided to press on with the pre-production."

So now begs the question, what of the old cast??? Well we had a chance to catch up with two of the former cast from the show.

First we had the pleasure of briefly speaking with Singer/ Dancer, Nadia Ferguson (Pictured to the left at an exclusive event in South Beach). We wanted to know what was going on with Nadia and what she felt about the loss of "Coming of Age." - "...I've been staying kind of low these days mainly just focusing on my career in music...losing Coming of Age was very disappointing to me. I loved the project..."

We went on to ask her about Pro Rod Productions efforts to bring the project back to life: "...i would love to see the project come back to life... I really liked my character! She was intense and savage and beautiful, much like myself! (We both let out a laugh at that point!)... I would love the chance to be a part of this project as long as Pro Rod Productions was heading it out..." - Nadia Ferguson. We're all hoping Nadia comes back for "The Point in Life" project!

We also spoke with Broadway star and brother to the show creator, Manuel Rodriguez (Pictured here behind stage at the 2009 Tony Music Awards). We wanted to know his thoughts on Pro Rod Productions revival of "Coming of Age," - "...I think it's brilliant to bring back the concept of the show. I haven't had a chance to read what my brother (Juan Eduardo Rodriguez) and Pro Rod Productions have put together, but what ever it is I'm sure it's going to be something that can't be missed!"

We also asked if he would be interested in coming back to the revived version. "...coming back to the show would be a lot of fun. I'm currently tied up on a new broadway show, but you never know. Anything is possible." - Manuel Rodriguez.

We weren't able to get in contact with any one else of the former cast, but what we can say is that this once thought of "finished" project, is one that is coming back at full force! That's it for now! We'll try to keep you eager loyal fans up to date on everything taking place with the show!
