From cast confirmations to words from the Director!!! Post #7

Director J.E. Rodriguez (Pictured left in a promotional ad for PRPs) has been one tough person to get a hold of. From meeting with celebrities to signing contracts and deals, being on the cast of "The Rough Draft" seems to be the hot ticket in town. With so many trying to be on the show and so limited parts, we're wondering who will get the golden ticket!!!

Okay so after long debate over which past cast members would join or not we had only one confirmation and that was from Karen Marie Carvajal. Since her announcement of returning to the cast, many of the former cast have been approached! Long time friend and former cast mate to Carvajal, Jorge Santovenia, was one of the cast that were approached. Santovenia, another former child star turn model, is one of the former cast that PRP's is trying to lock in. This full time model is currently settled in New York and let's just say has a schedule that barely let's him sleep at night! Our bloggers from New York met up with Santovenia as he was leaving a coffee shop. Here's what he had to say about PRP's revival of the former Coming of Age, - "... I think its a bad ass idea what Eduardo (J.E. Rodriguez) is doing with PRP's. The idea behind Coming of Age was a great one and like the rest of the cast I was mad as hell when it fell through due to budget cuts... Will I be joining the cast? Who knows. I have been approached by Eduardo and I'd really like to be a part of it again but we'll see..." - Jorge Santovenia. Keep your fingers crossed everyone! This young star is one to be watched.

On a lighter note we do have confirmation over one former cast mate who has joined the ranks of Carvajal and joined the cast. We recently spoke with Manuel Rodriguez after his broadway tour had ended. Well according to "Nosotros Weekly" Manuel Rodriguez has officially been brought on board to join the cast! Deemed as the hottest broadway star today, Manuel is once again stepping off the stage to take on the other side of show business. Manuel's publicist sent us a statement: "Manuel could not be any more delighted to join his former cast mates on his former project. He is excited to be working with new cast members and of course his twin brother, J. E. Rodriguez." 

That makes 2 of the former cast part of the show once again! Word on the former cast mates is still in the air. We have not had a chance to get word back from Model/actor Jesse Merced who appears to be off in Spain working on a promotional campaign. We do know he was contacted but as to whether or not he will be joining the cast is yet to be decided.

We're down to our final update! This one came right under us and we never saw it coming. There is one more confirmation to the cast! This diva, who is far from shy when it comes to the camera some how managed to get in with J.E. Rodriguez, sign a contract and remain undetected the entire time! This ex-las vegas show girl, turned actor/singer is none other than Isabella Rodriguez (No relation to the director). This high intensity actress has worked in the industry since very young. Let's just say this beauty is a perfect addition to the show. When approached here's what this beautiful enchantress had to say, "...Will I be joining the cast of The Rough Draft? One word says it all...ABSOLUTELY!...It's just the right timing for my career." If you don't know much about Isabella you should hang your head in shame! She was the leading show girl at Las Vega's top 3 casinos. She received a whole new level of fame for her portrayal as Lady Gaga on SNL and now she takes on The Rough Draft.

This brings our confirmed list to 5! Deborah Mogro, Karen Villamizar, Karen Marie Carvajal, Manuel Rodriguez, and Isabella Rodriguez! Word has it that a few more may have already signed on but until we get confirmation we'll keep it to ourselves - oh who are we kidding! Any gossip, news, trends or nail biting news that we get will be shared for all of our followers to view!
