More confirmations and Scandals!!!

It's been a day since our last post and we have got to say it's getting harder and harder to get information squeezed out for the "The Rough Draft." So instead of targeting the high end talent, we went after the production assistants! Word has it the script is still in the final works! What does this mean to us? Well from what we understand production is slated to begin in September, which happens to be 2 weeks away! Let's hope this get's finished ASAP!!! We would love to get a sneak peak at that script!!! :)

In other news, fashion icon and mommy to be Janet Alvarez has had to step down from "The Rough Draft" project. This may be due to the surrounding scandal of who the father of her child is. Alvarez's manager refuses to comment on the situation. This news is sad and comes to us at a time where we wanted to see her in the show so desperately!!! Her talent will be missed! But from what our sources tell us she has not fully given up on the project. She was tied in by contract. Hmmmm we think a possible cameo appearance later on in the show or possibly on another of Pro Rod Production's projects. Either way, "Janet hurry up and give birth! We want to see you behind the camera again!" - PRP staff.

You may be wondering why we picked the photo of Janet with Gabriella. It's simple! Rumors had been flying around over this Spanish soap opera star and where she stood with "The Rough Draft." It appears that Castillo had met with J.E. Rodriguez several times and she has now officially joined the cast! Her publicist released a statement this morning, "Gabriella could not be more ecstatic to join the cast. She has stepped away momentarily from the latin world and is crossing over to US main stream television." We're just happy to see this beautiful latin beauty join the cast! Let's just say she has a lot to be seen ;)

We also have one more addition to mention. Celebrity blogger and music producer Louie Laborde from http://www.musicboxmix.net/ has been confirmed to join the ensemble cast! It's been some time since we've seen this one behind the studio for a tv production, but if you want to see this one behind the camera you can always follow him and his wild antics through his youtube blogs! We had the rarest luck to catch Laborde in the streets of New York. Our team from New York was able to ask him about joining the cast and who exactly he would be playing: "I've seen Pro Rod's work before and I'm glad to have the chance to be a part of one of his projects... who have I been cast as? Oooo I can't say that come on now, you want me to fired before I start?!" Definitely not Louie! It's okay we can wait. We also asked him if his musical influence would cross over to the screen: "...yeah I've been working with some artists and producing tracks. Whether or not they will be used is not my call. I guess you'll have to wait till the show airs." - Louie Laborde. And we will wait Louie!

Final word for today's blog comes from the streets of Miami where MMA fighter, Chris Belliard has been slated to join the cast! Belliard has mainly done promotional ad's for his fights so this would be his first time on a major production. To catch you up to speed, Belliard has been an MMA fighter for quite some time now. He run's a studio in MMA and teaches the art of jiu jit -su. As to whether or not this fighter will be joining the cast is anyone's guess but let's keep our fingers crossed! Who knows maybe there will be a big action scene! After all he is an MMA fighter!
