Time for Updates: Post #4

It's been some time and we want to fill you all in on what's been going on with PRP's latest project! So for the first main update, the show will no longer be called "That Point in Life," rather it has gone through one more change to better fit the show, "The Rough Draft" - suiting, seeing how the show is based on a screenwriter/journalist.

The script continues to go through modifications but one things for sure: "The Rough Draft" has enough buzz surrounding it  to keep us all at the edge of our seats.

So now begs the question, who is now officially tied to the production??? All sorts of names have been tied to this production since its inception but let's review the latest:

We know that Rodriguez has been in talks with actress Nadia Ferguson and twin brother Manuel Rodriguez. They were both part of the original cast back when the name of the show was "Coming of Age." Since then both actors have taken on to their own paths. Whether or not they are joining the cast is yet to be confirmed. We continue to keep our fingers crossed though on these two; having two of the original cast would be A-Ma-ZING!

Recently there were two other potential cast members: The prankster and MTV star, Luis Ponce (To the right- Seen here in the middle of a prank) has met with Rodriguez on several occasions - our only assumption is negotiating a contract. This may seem to be a bit more difficult to get around considering his hectic schedule with MTV; but who knows?!! Anything is possible right?!?!!

The other potential cast member was Janet Alvarez but at the current moment is in the middle of a pregnancy scandal. We tried several times to get in contact with Alvarez but she seems to be keeping away from any lime light. We did manage to eventually get a statement from Alvarez's manager: "Janet is in the middle of a pregnancy. Her main concern is the safety of her child." 

We hope everything can turn around for Janet. Her natural talent would bring so much to the show. We're keeping our fingers crossed for you Janet!

We have rumors that comedian Deborah Mogro is slated to join the cast. Other sources tell us she has already signed on! It's kinda hard to figure out of this rumor is true or not when you're dealing with a comedian. We had a chance to meet up with Deborah and here's what she had to say when asked if she was joining the cast of The Rough Draft: ..."oh wait, me? Am I joining the cast? That's hard to say, not the actual phrase but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to answer that yet. What I can say is that The Rough Draft has an amazing line up of talent. Some you aren't expecting (Deborah at this point gave us lollypops). Here ya go, for practice." and just like that she walked away to her car; yes, we know, very random. All's we can say is if she joins the cast there's no telling where this show will take her wild antics too.
