Bingo has become popular in the trend setting gay community complete with outlandish games and callers.

Believe it or not many stars play bingo. Bingo has shed its stodgy reputation and many stars can be found at local bingo halls or will have private bingo parties at home. Catherine Zeta Jones is one of these stars. Long considered one of the most beautiful women on the screen this Welsh beauty is known for her bingo parties given in her home.

Since Catherine spends most of her time in the US she plays 75 ball bingo. She is well known for hosting Christmas bingo parties in her home and friends and family eagerly participate. Catherine is as stylish playing bingo as she is onscreen.

Catherine Zeta Jones| playing bingoAs a child, Catherine loved organizing family bingo parties. She would do everything: make the numbered bingo balls and the bingo cards, organize the prizes, and get her parents and brothers involved in the bingo games. It's a childhood memory that she still cherishes.

When Catherine was in her early teens, her father won £100,000 playing bingo. A lot has changed in the life of Catherine Zeta-Jones since her early days in Swansea. She is now an internationally recognized actress and sex symbol, the recipient of an Academy Award, the wife of the actor Michael Douglas, and the mother of two children.

Every Christmas, she organizes a bingo party for her family and her closest friends, just as she did way back when. Friends of the family have said that Michael was skeptical at first — he thought bingo was a silly game — but that he has lately become an enthusiastic bingo player himself.

Catherine Zeta Jones| playing bingoCatherine Zeta-Jones likes to put her fame to good use by helping others, and one of the ways she does it is by appearing as a celebrity bingo caller at charity bingo fund-raising events. These events are not your typical 10-pence bingo games at the local bingo hall. Entrance to the event together with one bingo card typically costs about £50, and each bingo card after that can cost £25 .

But the money is all for a good cause, such as a hospital or an amateur theater group. So to help a good cause — and to play bingo with Catherine Zeta-Jones — it is certainly worth the money.

George Returns to ER

Yes, it is very true! George Clooney will be playing Dr. Ross once again when he makes a guest appearance for ER's 15th and final season. Even more exciting, the sexy doc was said to be filming with his ER love interest, Julianna Margulies! (I've caught a glimpse of him filming and it appears that he is wearing a wedding ring! Mr. and Mrs. Doug Ross, loves it!)I can't contain my excitement! The hospital drama has stepped up this season with appearances from some of our favorite docs, but I have a feeling this one might top them all! Tune in! The season finale airs April 2nd on NBC.

A Night At The Met

So, last night, major happenings in NYC! The Costume Institute Gala brought out many an A-lister to The Met and I just happened to be eyeing the red carpet as the stars were arriving. And by happened to be there, I mean I walked by on my way home and was across the street, stuck behind paparazzi and other ecstatic, not to mention screaming and waving (yes I waved) fans like myself. Although I didn't get a chance to see my love George Clooney (so upset!), I did show up just in time to catch a glimpse of actual superheroes welcoming guests at the bottom of The Met stairs, Mr. Big, Jason Lewis (hard to believe, but even more good-looking in person) the Beckhams, Tom and Katie, J.Lo, MKO (oh sorry, aka my abbreviation for Mary-Kate Olsen, who I'm sure just loved hearing my shout out to her and her sister), Mr. Lagerfeld himself, Blake Lively (so excited to see Serena considering I was missing Monday's ep. of Gossip Girl to star gaze), Valentino, Bonjovi, Eva Longoria and the list goes on.

Nicest/biggest smiles/longest waves to the crowd - J.Lo, Valentino and Tom Cruise (maybe it was just an act considering all of his bad publicity lately, but he did look genuinely nice)

Celeb who I wish I could have seen turn around - David Beckham (A bus decided to block my view, just as his gorgeousness turned toward the crowd)

Biggest undercover entrance - Karl Lagerfeld

Most surprising duo - Vogue's Andre Leon Talley, arriving toward the end, with Venus Williams at his side.

Best dressed - A tie between Katie Holmes and Eva Longoria

The only good picture I was able to capture - J.Lo and Marc Anthony

My list of who I saw...yes, I know I'm a nerd, but a celeb-obsessed nerd, so much cooler!

From Scarlett's engagment surprise and Katie's blue heels, to Gisele's arm candy and Victoria's choice of dress, here are a few other snapshots of the celebs at the Superheroes: Fiction and Fantasy gala hosted by Giorgio Armani, George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Anna Wintour.

TomKat

Scarlett Johansson dazzled her diamond as news broke of her engagement to Ryan Reynolds yesterday.

George and Julia, the ravishing co-hosts (Also happy birthday George today!)

Tom Brady and his leading lady Gisele

A few Gossip Girl attendees

The Beckhams in Armani

Karl Lagerfeld and Kate Bosworth, wearing what else, Chanel

Fergie and Hilary Duff

The Rumors Are False

George Clooney is NOT engaged! (THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!)

I mean, I know that him and girlfriend of less than a year Sarah Larson are getting more and more serious by the day, and that she technically is the only girlfriend he has ever brought to the Oscars, blah blah blah, but still he has not made that big step just yet. (THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!)

Reports of the engagement were posted in the British version of Marie Claire, where a restaurant worker from the Italian town where Clooney's villa is located was quoted as saying that Clooney and Larson were engaged. The reports were in an article under the headline, "George Clooney to Marry?"

Clooney responded through his rep by saying that "these reports are not true."

Phew...America's (and obviously my) favorite bachelor is still, well just that, our favorite bachelor!
